WikiLectures provide a collaborative Web2.0 space for the production and storage of medical teaching materials. This platform is mainly aimed at the continuous creation and editing of texts for a pre-gradual education by students themselves. An editorial team has been designed to provide support to authors as well as quality monitoring. The most important feature of the WikiLectures is the simplification of production of learning materials, easy updating, and inspiring cooperation among people interested in the same topics. The texts are not created in the form of encyclopedia contributions; rather, short chapters of a textbook are produced.
